Israel Intensifies Attacks on Western Iran
(MENAFN) The Israeli military announced on Monday that it is continuing its operations targeting "military infrastructure" in the western regions of Iran.
According to a formal statement shared by army spokesperson "Avichay Adraee," Israeli combat aircraft executed attacks on military installations located in the Kermanshah province.
This development followed earlier reports from Iranian media that described a large detonation in Kermanshah on Sunday night.
These airstrikes mark the newest phase in a broader military campaign conducted by Israel with "US-backed" support, which has been escalating since June 13.
The intensifying conflict has led Tehran to initiate "retaliatory" missile launches aimed at Israeli territory.
Israeli officials have confirmed that "at least 25 people have been killed" and hundreds have sustained injuries due to Iranian missile strikes.
Conversely, Iranian authorities report that the toll from the Israeli offensive is significantly higher.
According to the Iranian Health Ministry, more than 430 individuals have lost their lives, and over 3,500 have been wounded in the attacks.
