UAE Says Its Air Defenses Are Responding to Missile Threat

(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates reported Wednesday that its air defense systems are actively responding to a “missile threat” amid ongoing Iranian retaliatory attacks following the US-Israeli strikes on Iran.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) urged residents to “remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.”

Regional tensions escalated after Israel and the US launched joint strikes on Feb. 28, killing over 1,200 people and injuring more than 10,000. Iran has since carried out drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
